I spotted this old Lancer Boss forklift near Wadebridge in Cornwall. I guess it dates from the 1970's?
No chance of this name badge falling off!
It doesn't look like the forklift gets much use these days.
I photographed this Coles Crane on 31/3/14 being used to repair the harbour at Charlestown, Cornwall.
On the boom, you can just make out that it used to belong to ECC International Europe or English China Clays to use the proper name. ECC is now part of IMERYS.
David has certainly done a nice job of the restoration.
Sean's digger. Made from an abandoned backhoe (chopped the rear end off the old tractor), a snowmobile engine and a hydraulic pump from a parts truck. The 45 gallon drum on drill pipe serves as counterweight & heat sink for the engine!
